Ingredients

  • Chopped ginger (adrak)- 1/3 cup
  • Lemon juice-1 1/4 tsp
  • Cloves (laung / lavang)-4
  • Cinnamon (dalchini) powder-1 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped lemongrass (hare chai ki Patti)- 1/4 cup
  • Chopped tulsi leaves (Indian basil) leaves-1 tbsp
    Honey -2 tbsp

Methods

  • Boil 4½ cups of water in a deep pan, add all the ingredients except honey mix well and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Strain and pour into 4 individual cups.
  • Add 1½ tsp honey to each cup, mix well, and serve immediately.
